Chanda L. Brown, co-founder of Walton + Brown LLP, has over 18 years of experience specializing in personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights, and employment litigation. Known for her relentless advocacy and calm demeanor, she has a proven track record of taking on complex cases and fighting for justice both in and out of the courtroom.
A nationally recognized trial attorney, Chanda has appeared as a legal expert on CBS This Morning and NewsOne Now and served as a guest analyst on TV One's For My Man. Her work has been highlighted by publications like Essence and the LA Times, and she is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Before founding her firm, Chanda served as lead trial attorney at a Columbus personal injury law firm and worked with the U.S. Department of Labor, gaining invaluable insight into employment law. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems (summa cum laude) from Alabama State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton, where she graduated with numerous honors. Chanda is also an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law, a distinction held by fewer than 2% of attorneys in Ohio.
Chanda actively contributes to the legal community as a board member of both the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association and Legal Aid of Southwest and Central Ohio.
